If you wish to adjust the displayed temperature up or down, there is calibration feature in your thermostat.  Although it is factory calibrated and should not need to be changed, you can adjust it to match a different thermometer in home.

To adjust your calibration, perform the following steps:

  1. Dial must be in Run
  2. Turn temperature mode switch to “OFF”
  3. Hold down the UP button and push the DOWN button once, then let go of both. The words CAL and SET will appear on the screen with a number.
  4. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to change the number value between -5°F (-3°C) and +5°F (+3°C) degrees. 0 degrees of correction is the default setting.
  5. A number will pop up in the display between -5 and +5
  6. Use the up and down buttons to adjust it as desired

For example:  Putting this adjustment to – 2 will lower the display temperature by 2 degrees.  Putting this adjustment to + 2, will increase the displayed temperature by 2 degrees.

The maximum amount you can calibrate the thermostat is plus or minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit. (Plus or minus 2 Celsius)
